Hello! I’m Jefferey Hood Jr., your go-to sports journalist and multimedia producer with a fierce passion for unveiling the incredible stories behind the game. Currently rocking it at Florida A&M University, I'm thrilled to serve as the sports editor for The FAMUAN and associate sports producer for FAMU-TV 20. From breaking news to captivating interviews with top athletes and coaches. I’m all about showcasing the electric impact of sports on campus and beyond. As the sports director at WANM-FM 90.5, I lead dynamic teams, create engaging content, and whip up eye-catching digital graphics that resonate with fans across social media.  

 

My journey has taken me beyond campus with incredible internships at the NBA Sacramento Kings and ESPN. I honed my skills in multimedia production and content strategy, reaching thousands of passionate sports fans. When I'm not in traditional media, I’m having a blast hosting Halftime with The Playmakers, my podcast that dives deep into collegiate and professional sports with exclusive interviews and lively discussions each week.
